infROWgraphic: ESPN’s ties to 100th Rose Bowl run deep
The “Granddaddy of Them All” reaches an historic milestone on Wednesday in Pasadena, Calif. when No. 5 Stanford faces No. 4 Michigan State in the 100th edition of the Rose Bowl (5 p.m. ET, ESPN, WatchESPN, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Radio).
Six ESPN college football analysts have participated in the Rose Bowl as a player or coach, including former Michigan quarterback Brian Griese (1998). Said Griese, a member of the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame: “What did it feel like to play in that Rose Bowl? It felt like my feet did not touch the ground for the first 10 minutes of the game.” Read more about Griese and his fellow analysts’ takes on the Rose Bowl experience at ESPN MediaZone.
