Today, the NHL’s Florida Panthers are sponsoring a “Goal of a Lifetime” contest in which one fan will serve as Florida’s back-up goalie in practice for a day. SportsCenter anchor Linda Cohn will be participating in the tryouts.
Cohn arrived at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla., the Panthers’ home ice, this morning. She will participate in a tryout this afternoon and report on SportsCenter throughout the day, including the 6 p.m. ET show. Hockey analyst Barry Melrose will provide commentary on the event.
Check back here tomorrow as she offers a further glimpse into her experience. Read more about Cohn’s passion for hockey.
