Today is National Pet Day, which encourages people to pay extra special attention to animals. Front Row asked ESPN commentators and executives to share photos with their pets and explain how they plan to celebrate National Pet Day.

Andy Hall, Anna Negron, Gracie Blackburn, Kimberly Jarvis, Diane Lamb, and Molly Mita contributed to this post.

Sire: “Mays is a rescue kitty from San Francisco. Being that he is orange and was born in San Francisco, it seemed only fitting to name him after the [baseball Hall of Famer] great Willie Mays. While he can be difficult at times (like when you’re trying to do a quick photo shoot for Front Row), he is the most loving and hilarious cat I’ve ever owned. He will be getting spoiled with lots of his favorite treats on National Pet Day, along with a shout out on Instagram. He even has his own IG account, @MisForMays, so give him a follow!”

Given our favorite team is the Rangers, we will celebrate National Pet Day watching the Rangers take on the Angels and definitely some peanut butter doggie treats; I’ll pass on those. I’ll let him feast on that!”
