Sutcliffe throws out the ceremonial first pitch.
ESPN MLB analyst and former Baltimore Orioles pitcher Rick Sutcliffe threw out the ceremonial first pitch Aug. 20, before the Orioles hosted the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. This year marks the 25th anniversary season at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Sutcliffe’s ceremonial pitch to Orioles Hall of Famer Chris Hoiles recreated the first pitch from Opening Day of the 1992 season, the teams’ first at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
The weekend included additional festivities to mark the anniversary including honoring 20-plus members from the 1992 team and more.

Editor’s Note: Sutcliffe will be back in the analyst seat with Jon Sciambi and Eduardo Pérez when the Texas Rangers visit the Angels tonight and tomorrow at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN.
