Thursday night in New York, espnW’s Kate Fagan dropped by Comedy Central’s weeknight talk show “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” as part of a promotional tour for her recently published book, What Made Maddy Run: The Secret Struggles and Tragic Death of an All-American Teen. The book, now available, is an extension of Fagan’s award-winning story for espnW, “Split Image,” and focuses on the life, struggles and subsequent death of University of Pennsylvania runner Madison Holleran. Fagan was joined backstage at “The Daily Show” by family and friends, including Around The Horn host Tony Reali.
