ESPN’s Monday Night Football kicks off tonight with another season-opening doubleheader. Here are 5 Things fans should know going into the two games.

Special time:
The New Orleans Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings MNF opener begins at 6:55 p.m. ET, followed by the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Denver Broncos at 10:15 p.m.. MNF will begin at its normal time (8:15 p.m.) the rest of the season. -
Beth Mowins:
ESPN play-by-play voice Beth Mowins will call Chargers-Broncos, becoming the first woman to call a nationally-televised NFL game — and the first woman in 30 years to an NFL game. She will be paired with new ESPN studio analyst Rex Ryan and sideline reporter Sergio Dipp of ESPN Deportes. MNF’s Sean McDonough, Jon Gruden and reporter Lisa Salters will call the opener.Note: A handful of stories have been written this week about Mowins. ESPN2 simulcast:
For the first time, the ESPN Deportes Spanish-language presentation of MNF will be simulcast on ESPN2. This includes both games tonight and the first 10 MNF games this season (through Nov. 6).

Randy Moss Ring of Honor:
ESPN analyst Randy Moss will be part of ESPN’s on-site studio coverage with host Suzy Kolber tonight at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Minnesota Vikings legend will also be inducted into the team’s prestigious Ring of Honor at halftime, and he will sound the ceremonial Gjallarhorn before kickoff.
