Junior lightweight Mikaela Mayer (2-0, 2 KOs), a 2016 U.S. Olympian, will fight Nydia Feliciano at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday as part of the Top Rank on ESPN card (9 p.m. ET, ESPN and ESPN Deportes). Fighting on the Vasiliy Lomachenko-Guillermo Rigondeaux undercard, Mayer is making her second ESPN appearance as a pro.
Mayer made her professional debut this past August on ESPN when she steamrolled Widnelly Figueroa. In the video above, Mayer – who recently visited Bristol, Conn., with Lomanchenko and several other boxers on the Top Rank on ESPN card – talks about being in the ESPN boxing coverage spotlight and more.
