Front Row is expanding on “FGF” goodness every Friday as we put our own spin on the segment by highlighting the “good” being done by familiar faces from around ESPN who are helping to make others – and themselves! – feel good. This ongoing series showcases even more ways that ESPN is #OneTeam, signifying how we are all in this together.
One of the regular Friday highlights now ingrained in the noon ET SportsCenter is a segment called “Feel Good Friday.” It’s self-explanatory.
Today, co-anchors Nicole Briscoe and Randy Scott feature 9-year-old Kamryn Johnson, daughter of former NFL player Ron Johnson. She and her friends raised $40,000 for black-owned businesses by selling homemade bracelets.
This week on Front Row, we hear from ESPN reporter and host Jen Lada and ESPN college basketball analyst Seth Greenberg.
They each participated in ESPN: #oneteam Challenge with DoSomething.org. Each week, the recently concluded campaign had a new challenge, inspiring kids and teens to use the power of sports to build community, make a difference for those affected by COVID-19 and get through this together.
Besides Lada and Greenberg, ESPN host and reporter Victoria Arlen and Around the Horn host Tony Reali also participated.
