Some of ESPN’s most celebrated commentators are in the game as EA College Football 25 officially premieres today.

Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Jesse Palmer, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, and Kevin Connors spent hundreds of hours over the past two years recording voiceovers for the highly anticipated video game.

Connors and Herbstreit are video game veterans, with Connors regularly voicing EA Sports games and Herbstreit voicing the previous iteration of the game.

These six voices are synonymous with the sport, as Fowler and Herbstreit have been teammates for more than 25 years between Saturday Night Football and College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, Davis, Herbstreit and Howard all current cast members of the iconic College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, and Connors and Palmer both studio mainstays over the past two decades before Palmer’s shift back to the booth last season.

In the video below, get a peek behind the scenes at what it took to get to today’s launch.
