ESPN’s NBA schedule shuffle – *Updated Info*
Updated Schedule information after the jump
On Monday, the NBA canceled the first two weeks of the regular season. One of the immediate questions associated with the news: How will ESPN replace NBA programming in November?
ESPN’s programming team had a plan in place.
“We started over a year ago and carefully pieced together a contingency plan in the event this occurred,” said John Papa, ESPN Vice President, Programming and Acquisitions.
“It’s a bit of a jigsaw puzzle, with all of the moving parts.
“We certainly hope the NBA returns to our networks very soon. In the meantime, we’re confident in the schedule we’ve been able to create.”
